Although I mainly work 1:1 with individual clients, I also offer bespoke training for groups and teams through online Courses, Workshops, and Team Coaching.
These are always highly experiential as well as educative and evidence-based, and are usually commissioned by an organisation or a local system on behalf of a cohort of people, or a team of their staff.
To maximise impact, my courses, workshops and team coaching programmes usually involve both ‘minimal expected group learning goals’ as well as unique individual goals for each participant.
I use coaching, mentoring and teaching methods to design and deliver a curriculum founded on bespoke, evidence-based educational content to meet the learning needs of the group and its individuals. All my courses have been designed to be inclusive for participants who are neurodiverse.
I help the commissioner and/ or participants to develop clear learning outcomes for the course, workshop, or team coaching programme – and I help each participant to identify their own learning outcomes.

My courses, workshops, team coaching, and other leadership development programmes for medical and public health leaders are often combined with 1:1 coaching.
I have facilitated and led groups since the early 1990s, and am highly skilled in managing group dynamics while also paying attention to each individual.
I am an Accredited Facilitator for the Real World Group’s world-leading Team 360′ assessments, and for the NHS Leadership Academy Healthcare Leadership Model, which will enable your team members to gain insight into their leadership, governance and behaviours, in order to collectively develop and increase the team’s impact.
Action learning sets are a facilitated forum comprising around 3-6 people who do not usually work closely together but come together on a regular basis as peers to support and coach each other, and develop their leadership skills.
I am an experienced action learning set facilitator and can safely establish peer learning sets, and I will withdraw when the group becomes self-supporting.
Action learning sets do not include educational content delivery by the Coach, nor 1:1 coaching sessions.
As an experienced former public health specialist, I undertake whole team/ department/ directorate staff needs assessments around wellbeing and / or leadership development. This may also be combined with coaching and or mentoring sessions for staff offering brief or longer term interventions.
I develop bespoke, evidence-based educational and developmental interventions for groups and teams of senior doctors, medical and public health leaders according to their needs. This includes medical education, non clinical training, training in healthcare management, professional development for doctors, ensuring standards in medical leadership development as forms of continuing professional development for doctors, medical leaders, and public health leaders.
I prefer to include a mixture of both 1:1 and group coaching / training sessions in my courses and workshops where possible, to ensure that I am able to get to the heart of the needs of each individual participant as well as the group as a whole.
