The ‘Foundation Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring for Health Leaders’ is uniquely designed for senior doctors and public health specialists and is grounded in evidence-based coaching psychology. It is fully Certificated by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
The ability to coach and mentor is an essential skill for every health leader: and this course aligns with GMC Duties of a Doctor and UK Public Health Curriculum relating to coaching and mentoring, providing feedback and appraisal for public health and clinical staff, and to identify learning, support and development needs.

You will be in a small, supportive peer group, led and delivered by Dr Fiona Day and will feel confident to engage, lead and educate your staff, supervisees, coachees, mentees, appraisees and peers; lead your own teams effectively, and create a psychologically safe, coaching culture while leading strategically across the system.
