Dr Fiona Day, Former Public Health ‘Educational Supervisor of the Year’ in Yorkshire and the Humber and internationally renowned Coach and Coaching Psychologist for senior public health leaders, has developed this coaching programme for senior health leaders and senior public health trainees as they prepare for their next leadership interview.
Aim: To ensure participants are able to represent themselves effectively in their next interview.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
- Feel confident to apply for new leadership roles and to present themselves both accurately and effectively
- Understand what a more senior role is likely to expect of them and what this means in terms of applying and securing a new role including performing well in a competitive interview
- Consider their own performance and strengths, and other leadership development insights – and develop a unique, personal, compelling narrative to embody and communicate these in the application and interview process
- Gain insight into potential development needs and develop action plans around development needs
- Feel supported to perform to the best of their ability at a competitive interview
- Be prepared for either securing the role or to manage emotions if not successful on this occasion

3 hour online ‘Shine at Interview’ group coaching programme (flexible according to your needs)
The Workshop will be a mixture of content delivery with individual work, small group breakouts, plenary sessions, Q&A, and a short break. CPD certificates will be issued.
