‘Reflective Practice & Reflective Writing’ 3 hour online Workshop for Medical & Public Health Leaders
Dr Fiona Day, Former Public Health ‘Educational Supervisor of the Year’ in Yorkshire and the Humber and internationally renowned Coach and Coaching Psychologist for senior public health leaders, has developed this coaching programme for senior health leaders and senior public health trainees as they prepare for their next leadership interview.
This course has been designed to be inclusive for participants who are neurodiverse.
Aim: To ensure participants are able to competently and confidently demonstrate their reflective practice and reflective writing skills for UKPHR Portfolio and /or Annual Appraisal Purposes for the UKPHR or GMC.
Minimal Expected Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
- Gain insight into own existing skills regarding reflective practice
- Understand the current evidence base for reflective practice and how to most effectively undertake this as a UKPHR portfolio applicant and / or public health consultant
- Gain insight into own existing skills regarding reflective practice
- Gain new skills in undertaking reflective practice in a structured, evidence-based, time efficient manner
- Feel confident to undertake independent reflective practice now and into the future
- Be competent and skilled at recording their reflective practice in written format for UKPHR Portfolio and or Annual Appraisal Purposes for the UKPHR or GMC
- Create personalised action plans to address any barriers and implement their learning in practice
