‘Leading Well: Building a Culture of Care’

3 hour online Workshop for Medical & Public Health Leaders

Dr Fiona Day, Former Public Health ‘Educational Supervisor of the Year’ in Yorkshire and the Humber and internationally renowned Coach and Coaching Psychologist for senior public health leaders, has developed this workshop for senior health leaders and senior public health trainees as they prepare for their next leadership interview.

This virtual workshop is designed for health leaders who want to take care of themselves and their teams now and into the future. It will help you to develop practical and evidence-based strategies, underpinned by the science of coaching psychology. The workshop will include a mixture of the latest theory as well as time for reflection, sharing and action planning.

This course has been designed to be inclusive for participants who are neurodiverse.

Learning objectives

Participants will:

Recognise their own role in modelling wellbeing

Understand why leaders’ personal wellbeing habits influence team culture, performance and psychological safety.
Reflect on their own wellbeing and identify practical ways to manage energy, stress and boundaries.

Promote a culture of wellbeing within their teams

Identify key behaviours and communication styles that help normalise wellbeing conversations at work.
Explore strategies for encouraging openness, compassion, and support across teams.

3 hour online ‘Reflective Practice’ workshop (flexible according to your needs)

The Workshop will be a mixture of content delivery with individual work, small group breakouts, plenary sessions, Q&A, and a short break. CPD certificates will be issued.
